Provides guidance on carrying out visual inspections of air conditioning systems above 12 kW rated output required under the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). Sections cover packaged cooling systems; centralised cooling systems; assessing equipment sizing in relation to the cooling load; advice and alternative solutions; and explanatory notes for building owners and managers. A suggested reporting format for a packaged cooling system is given in an appendix.
